As natural stone becomes increasingly scarce and expensive, KITO asked: can we create a material that mimics real stone but surpasses it in durability and diversity? After 8 years of R&D, the Ultimate · True Stone Series was born — real stone glaze technology at international level, with veins 'growing naturally' from within the ceramic glaze.
Unlike ordinary stone-printed tiles (printed only on the surface — grind it away and the veins disappear), KITO's real stone glaze has veins running through all 3 glaze layers (3 mm depth). Each slab is an original — no two slabs alike, just like natural stone. Water resistance, heat resistance, and stain resistance are 10 times higher than natural marble.

- 1.Let tiles acclimate in interior environment ≥ 24h before installation
- 2.Use C2TE tile adhesive (deformable, per EN 12004) — DO NOT use traditional cement mortar for sizes ≥ 600×600
- 3.Minimum expansion joint 1.5 mm — use genuine KITO cross spacers
- 4.10 mm notched trowel for tiles ≤ 600×600, 12 mm trowel for large formats
- 5.Light foot traffic allowed after 24 hours, grouting after 72 hours
- 6.Grout with 2-part epoxy for wet areas (bathroom, kitchen)
- 7.LARGE FORMAT 900×1800: requires 2 installers + 12 mm notched trowel + back-buttering
- 8.Cut large-format tiles with diamond blade bridge saw — DO NOT use hand cutter
- 9.Structural expansion joint minimum 5 mm every 5 meters for large formats (accommodate thermal expansion)

Daily Cleaning
Wipe with soft cloth or microfiber mop with warm water + mild neutral pH cleaner (5-9). DO NOT use strong acids, strong alkalis, or metal tools.
Stubborn Stains
Grease: use diluted dish soap. Coffee/wine: wipe immediately with warm water + soap. Rust: use 5% oxalic acid. Ink: use 70% alcohol.
Periodic Maintenance
Every 3-6 months: clean with specialized ceramic tile cleaner (Fila Cleaner or equivalent) to restore gloss and glaze.
Prevention
Place doormats at entrances to limit sand and gravel that cause scratches. Attach rubber pads under furniture legs. Avoid dragging heavy objects.
