🔧Installation Guide
- 1.Before ordering, use a caliper to check door thickness, backset, and lock type (mortise lock / Euro cylinder / US standard), and confirm left/right handing and compatibility with door frame dimensions.
- 2.Install the lock body and escutcheons step by step per the included manual, keep wires tidy to avoid pinching; after inserting batteries, power on for self-test to ensure front and rear panels communicate correctly.
- 3.Turn on Bluetooth and pair at close range, then add the lock to the TTLock app, complete initialization, and register fingerprints, passwords, and cards for the administrator.
- 4.For remote features, add a WiFi gateway placed nearby and connect to the network; after linking, you can issue remote passwords, view access logs, and check battery level.
- 5.Before handover, repeatedly test unlocking via fingerprint, password, card swipe, app, and mechanical key, adjust latch throw and ensure full locking, and confirm the alarm and battery level operate normally.
🧽Care & Cleaning
Use genuine alkaline or lithium batteries and replace them promptly when the App alerts low battery; some models have a Type-C or 9V emergency power port on the bottom, allowing temporary power supply to open the door even if the battery is completely drained.
Always update the TTLock App to the latest version, grant or revoke eKeys remotely as needed; delete temporary passwords and one-time passwords immediately after use, and periodically clean up expired access permissions.
Clean the fingerprint reader and touch keypad with a soft, dry cloth to keep it clean and enhance recognition accuracy; never wash with water or expose to alcohol, strong solvents, or other chemicals.
If the handle, knob, or latch starts to stick, apply a small amount of specialized lubricant to the metal guide grooves; avoid strong impacts to the lock face, and during rainy season pay attention to the gasket seal of the outdoor lock body.
